Our Background

Our owner & therapist, Andrew L Barker, graduated from Central Michigan University in 1999 with a Bachelors Degree in Biology, and again in 2003 with a Master's Degree in Physical Therapy.

Over the past several years, he has expanded his knowledge and hands on skill set with further training at Michigan State University Osteopathic  Training Program, The Upledger Institute, The Barral Institute, The American Dry Needling Institute, The Jones Institute, Blue Heron Academy, and American Academy of Manipulative Therapy.  Andrew has also received specialized guidance from former co-workers and other leaders within the Physical Therapy Association.

Overall, Andrew believes that treating the human body is an art.  It often requires a blend of traditional therapies, consistent & skilled treatments, modern medicine, diagnostics, and other holistic treatments to provide successful outcomes.  It is Andrews personal goal to continue to learn and evolve his skills to better serve  patients health care needs, as well as, to offer skilled conservative alternatives that are not commonly provided in small communities.
