About Us

The Mission of Barker Physical Therapy Clinic, S.C. is to provide personalized, high quality, and skilled one on one patient care.  We have created a practice model that has been extremely effective in producing high success rates for recovery and high satisfaction of care from previous patients. Our slogan is to deliver care with results. We want to provide you with the experience and care that we ourselves would strive to receive.


Everyone in our office, from our Support Staff to your Physical Therapist has one goal - which is to help you feel better faster, prevent future injury, reduce pain for functional activities, and to improve your overall health.  You will be greeted with a smile and treated with direct specialized care.


 We believe that we as health care providers can never have enough training or education. We need to take our profession and the health of our clients seriously, as well as, we need to continue to progress our training to levels that warrant Master & Doctorate degree levels that are commonly present in our profession. We also believe that working together with all the clients health professionals not only produces the best results in reducing symptoms , but also strengthens our knowledge with the disease pathology or injury processes.

The Physical Therapist Andrew L. Barker is certified by the State of Wisconsin and has >14 years of experience, specializing in Manual Therapies, Manipulations, Dry Needling Acupuncture, Vestibular Rehab, Orthopedics, Visceral Manipulations, Work or Auto injuries, Chronic Pain Syndromes, and Cranial Sacral Therapy .  Our Board-Certified Assistants will always consult with the Physical Therapist prior to your appointment to provide consistent care at all times.  We are striving to addition health practitioner's  to render additional services.

Andrew L. Barker graduated locally from Menominee High School.  He attended Central Michigan University and received a Bachelor's Degree in Biology and Psychology in 1999.  He graduated with honors and received a Master's Degree in Physical Therapy in 2003.  He began his extensive additional training after graduation at Michigan State University where he completely the Osteopathic continuing education available for MD's, DO's, and PT's. Next, he began working with the Upledger Institute where he became certified as a Cranial Sacral Therapist in 2010. During this time, Andrew also completed additional training through credible institutes including: The Barral Institute, Jones Institute, & Cross Country University. He also received specialized training in various manipulative training courses which included leaders in the Physical Therapy community from Mark Bookout and James Dunning. Andrew began Dry Needling training  and certification to practice legally in the State of Wisconsin in 2012. He has completed extensive hands on training seminars in Dry Needling Acupuncture through the American Dry Needling Institute and The American Academy of Manipulative Therapy & Dry Needling Institute. Currently, Andrew is working to attain an Osteopractor certification in 2017 and a future fellowship in Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy from the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy.    


In July of 2014, Andrew and his wife Jennifer decided to take their knowledge, experiences, and commitment to the community and open Barker Physical Therapy Clinic.
